Winter's Night In TV Choices

There's nothing I like more on a winter's evening than snuggling down with a good bit of television, a hot chocolate and a comfy pair of pyjamas. With winter well upon us, I thought I'd share some of the shows I love to watch on a winter's evening.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series. I vaguely remembered Superman being on the telly, so when I saw there was a female equivalent starting, I was ready to give it a go. Melissa Benoist as Kara/Supergirl is relatable as the slightly geeky lead, and the rest of the cast do a brilliant job. I’d really recommend giving this a go.

I’ve been rewatching this from the beginning on Netflix, and I’m so glad I’ve got back into it. It’s a great vampire story, slightly different to the usual vampire tales. I’m hoping to catch up with the current series soon – I’m currently on season four. Although, I’m not sure what I’ll do when I’ve seen all the episodes.

Another superhero show. I’ve really enjoyed this show, and I’m keen to start the comic book series, to see how it compares. I love the team that work together to save Central City on a daily basis, and new character Patty Spivot has been an instant hit with me.

I won’t lie, I love this all year round, but the new series has been on at the moment. Admittedly, I’m a little far behind, but I know I’ll quickly catch up. It’s always fun to have a sneaky look into the lives of the people of Chelsea.

Yet another superhero show. I seem to love them at this time of year – maybe because they come back at the same time of year. This was the first show of its kind that I came across, and because of that it’s probably my favourite. Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen is a welcome sight, and I love Felicity Smoak. I’ve written a post about my love for it here!

What are some of your favourite shows to watch at this time of year?
Until next time,
Lexie
