The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

My lovely friend Charlotte over at charlotteslife93.com posted her attempt at The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag earlier this week, and I really enjoyed reading it, so I thought I'd give it a go myself. I love a good tag, giving nosy old me a sneak peek into other people's habits. I hope you enjoy this one.

Name a beauty regime that you barely do?
Only one? Cleanser (I know, how disgraceful). I'm just so lazy, my micellar water usually does a good enough job for my poor tired mind.

Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
Again, I'm going to be a disgrace to all things beauty here... no! I find it really tedious and annoying, and just find other things to do. When I do do them though, I do them well!

How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
Normally, I try and fix it at the next available opportunity. I do find nail painting really time-consuming though, so it often just means whipping that stuff off with some remover and painting them later on when I get more time.

How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
Now this is a rare occurrence. Normally I will buy something before it runs out, unless it's something like an eyeshadow (although, who finishes eyeshadow regularly?) at which point I'll just use something else, unless it's a holy grail. I recently ran completely out of my Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer before I had a chance to buy a replacement, and it was a difficult time haha.

What is your worst beauty habit?
I'm forever attacking my spots and just generally touching my face - punish me later, I'm a face toucher! Kim K-W would not be impressed.

Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Tidying my room. I just lack the motivation to get started on tackling it. Normally though, I make a really good attempt at tidying when I knuckle down to it.

When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute?
No, it takes me at least half an hour to get ready, so I try and factor that in.

Can you commit to spending bans?
No, never! I've tried, but it didn't last at all.

How organised are your makeup and nail polish collections?
I've actually just recently cleared out my nail polishes, so now I've got a small Ted Baker bag with all my polishes together. I've got a few bags of makeup, a big one I fill with all my goodies, and then a smaller one I refill every week with rotated products for my day-to-day wear. Having a limited amount of choices makes getting ready at 5am so much simpler.

So there, now you know some of my horrendous beauty habits. How embarrassing!

Love Lexie
