Kylie Lip Kit - Koko K

Anybody who's even remotely interested in the beauty world is aware of the Kylie Jenner Lip Kit hype. Arguably one of the most influential celebs of our generation (let's face it, her influence goes far and wide), you can see why and how much people love her and her lip kits. They've been slightly (okay, really) difficult to get hold of, and I've been envious of everyone who's tweeted or Instagrammed about getting one. But, one lucky evening I had my laptop, my phone on Snapchat and my debit card to hand when Kylie announced her latest launch, and I finally got one - hallelujah! Koko K is finally mine after months of yearning, and I thought I'd share it with you today!

As well as loving Kylie, Khloé Kardashian has always been my favourite of the Kar-Jenner girls, so when Kylie released a shade named after her older sister, I was all over it. Besides, the pale pink colour is totally up my street. I love a pinky nude, and something like this that is billed to be long-lasting, I was all over.

The ordering process was relatively easy, in all honesty. I managed to add Koko K, alongside Candy K for my sister Libby, into my basket and place my order all in less than ten minutes, without any waiting times in ordering queues or anything like that. The hard bit was the waiting for it to be delivered.

I waited about ten days for my parcel to be delivered, which considering it was coming from America, I didn't think was that bad. It did get stuck in France for what felt like forever, and it did become "delivered" before it had arrived at my house, which was worrying, but apart from that it was a relatively stress free experience. I was hit with a customs fee, and a Royal Mail handling fee of £15.90, but that was a price I was willing to pay.

When I finally got my hands on the parcel, I couldn't wait to get it open and get swatching. I love the box design, and the packaging of the lip liner and liquid lipstick feels really good, with a matching design. The lip pencil especially reminds me of a Mac lipliner I have - I have to keep them separate, otherwise I often pick up the wrong one.

I'm really impressed with the lipliner. I'm not always a fan of lipliners, so me finding one that I like is somewhat of a miracle. This is really creamy and applies nicely onto the lips, without dragging. I've used it both to just outline my lips, and to fill them in completely, and the look and finish of both was great. I can see this being a lipliner I use a lot, with other lipsticks apart from the liquid lippy.

Talking of the liquid lippy, this is another hit with me! It's matte, but comfortable, and once again it doesn't drag on your lips when you're applying. The colour is beautiful, and really opaque, so you only need a thin layer to get a decent colour pay off. And the highlight for me? The longevity. I can put this on at 6am for work, and it can last through until gone lunchtime. Yes, reapplying if necessary can be a little tricky, as it can't really be layered, but I don't find it too tricky.

I really love this lip combination, I think it was well worth the wait. It's a fab colour, it wears well and it's comfortable - what more could we want? Now I've ordered one, I can see why it becomes something people collect. There are a few more colours on my wishlist now, so we'll have to see won't we?

Have you managed to get your hands on a Kylie Lip Kit yet? Got any colours in mind?

Love Lexie
