The Body Shop Skincare

If you saw my post on the #DareToMask event at the beginning of the month, you'll have seen that I recently attended an event with The Body Shop at West Quay to celebrate the launch of their new face masks. As part of that event, we were given one-to-one skin consultations. Obviously, once I'd been given the correct guidance and shown the ranges that would be best for my skin, I may have done a spot of shopping.

First up, I had to go back for the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser. The lovely Lizzie used this on my hand as part of my personalised skin consultation at the recent store event, and I loved it! When you pump the product out, it instantly foams up, something I'd never seen before, I was amazed. My hand felt really clean after the cleanser had been used, so I can't wait to try it on my face. I'm a big fan of the tea tree scent - it just smells clean! I remember using tea tree products as a teen to help combat breakouts, so hopefully it'll help this time around.

Next step? Toner. I'll be honest, I've tried a Garnier one in the past but never on a regular basis. Lizzie advised that with my skin type, I could use both the Tea Tree and the Seaweed ranges, and seen as Tea Tree could be a little harsh, I decided to switch it up. The Seaweed Oil-Balancing Toner needed to come home with me as soon as I spotted it. I've been struggling with oily skin recently, and I'll try anything to combat it. I have high hopes for this.

There was a three for two offer on all skincare when I visited the store, so I had to pick one more item - it'd be rude not to after all. My final purchase was the Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution. Used the same as a serum, this targets blemished skin. The Body Shop claim that visible results can be seen within four weeks. I'll be sure to report back.

So that's my haul from The Body Shop. I can't wait to start seeing results with this new skincare routine. I'll be sure to report back.
