An Evening at Rogues Café

The café scene in Southampton has blossomed in recent months, and I'm loving all the latest additions to the streets of my hometown. I'm always up for visiting the latest opening, so when the invitation to join the SotonBloggers for an evening at Rogues Café dropped into my inbox, I jumped at the chance!

When we arrived, I was glad of the comforting, friendly atmosphere of the café. We were greeted by all the staff and made to feel completely welcome. It's intimate and cosy, perfect for the rainy evening we popped in on.

We were given a chance to have a nose around the café, taking the necessary Instagram and Snapchat photos, and getting the lowdown on the newest café to Southampton. Then came the fun bit - the food!

In a nutshell, it was delicious! Come the end of the evening, we were a group of very happy bloggers rocking rather large food babies. The menu offers everything from brunch to dinner, and combines a small, eclectic menu with an equally small and eclectic setting. For our intimate dinner for ten bloggers, we had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, to get a good taste of everything Rogue's Café has to offer.

Some of my favourites were the Dirty Bastard Fries, the delicious Chicken Wings, and the French Toast. I can't wait to head back to Rogue's Café for the Bloggers' Brunch with the SotonBloggers to have a whole plate of French Toast to myself.

With a tasty, well-thought out menu, a cosy setting, and the star of the show, café dog Percy, Rogue's Café is a welcome addition to the café culture of Southampton. You can find Rogue's Café on West Marlands Road, close to Guildhall Square.

Let me know if you head down. I'm sure I'll be back soon!

Love Lexie
