Spring Lush Haul

We all know I'm a huge fan of Lush, and it's not often that I can pop into town without visiting my local store. You can smell the store from a mile away and I'm sure it draws you in! So on a recent trip into Southampton, I headed into store to pick up a few items. I went in with a bit of an action plan, so I didn't get too distracted by the bright colours and the delicious smells.

First on the agenda was the Dream Cream. I have been recommended this by one of my best friends Beth for as long as I can remember, for as long as we've known each other probably. We both suffer from sensitive skin and Beth said that this was an absolute lifesaver. Now, I've just got back from a week in Tenerife and the lovely sunny weather did my psoriasis the world of good, so I'm trying anything to keep it looking as good as possible. Lush describes Dream Cream as soothing and cooling, which is a major plus for my skin when it's aggravated. I've got high hopes for this.

Next up, I was after a face mask! My skin has broken out like you wouldn't believe and nothing I use at the moment seems to be touching it. Lush face masks are always a good choice, so I went in to pick up a new tub of old favourite Mask of Magnaminty. This minty mask feels like it's working wonders when you've got it on, and did do the trick last time my skin was a bit angry. I've got my fingers crossed that it can work its magic again.

Now, it wouldn't be a trip to Lush without a look at the bath products would it? I'm a bath bomb fanatic and always pick up a couple of new ones to try. I've been having a bit of trouble sleeping recently, so I was on the lookout for anything with lavender to try and help relax. First up, I spotted the Twilight bath bomb. This is described as having a soothing, mind-clearing and calming fragrance, which sounds like exactly what I need. Here's hoping I can get a good night's sleep after using it.

While I was in store, the lovely staff also recommended the Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb. I'd seen this every time I'd been into Lush but never thought about picking it up for myself but as it's meant to have the same soothing effect as the Twilight bath bomb, I thought I'd give it a go. I will have a good night's sleep!!

I think that was a rather restrained trip into Lush, don't you? What are some of your favourite products?

Love Lexie
