My Biggest Blogging Influences

Despite my blog starting off as just a little corner of the internet that I could call my own, I've been making a conscious effort so far this year to really put some time and effort into my blog. Whether that means saying yes to more blogging opportunities, or taking more time writing and photographing blog posts, I've been diving back into the blogging world - and it's been fabulous! I've been finding inspiration from a range of beautiful girlies, and I thought I'd share my absolute favourites with you.

Victoria has been one of my favourite YouTubers for as long as I can remember. I love everything from her hair, to her fashion style, to her signature winged liner. And her blog just shows that there's so much more to Victoria that meets the eye. Yes, there's fashion and beauty posts, but there are also loads of more personal, advice posts. My particular favourite has to be How I'm Finding My Work/Life Balance. Let's be fair, it's something I struggle with from time to time, and this served as a perfect reminder to take that time for me.

Abi, lovely Abi. I met this gorgeous girly at panto and it was blogger love at first sight. She's a newer face on the SotonBlogger scene but it feels like she's always been around. Abi has the most stunning Instagram feed, full of gorgeous outfits, cute puppy pics and some of the most delicious looking food. It ticks all of the boxes! And when you make your way over to her blog, you see some well-written posts that approach things slightly differently. We both attended the same event with Blown, and the way she incorporated her thoughts on the new salon into her post was really refreshing. Abi's my go-to if I need a little motivation for my blog or even my life in general. Just go check her out, honestly you won't regret it!

I met the lovely Emma at the Rogues Bloggers Brunch last June, and I instantly followed her on all socials. She's so lovely, and her blog and Insta reflect this. She's just so relatable - she loves all things beauty, she wants to do more fashion posts despite finding them a tad embarrassing to shoot, and she's committed to finding her own place in the blogging world. Talk about a girl after my own heart. As well as some gorgeous images and well written posts, Emma has the cutest little kiddos who feature regularly on her Insta Stories. A down-to-earth, beauty blogger with a couple of cute kiddos to make you chuckle during your Instagram scrolling sesh - perfect!

Another old school favourite here. I think Anna was one of the first YouTubers I ever subscribed to, and I've remained a fan ever since. When ViviannaDoesMakeup became The Anna Edit, I eagerly awaited the grand reveal, and I loved what I saw. It's clean and sleek, and now incorporates all aspects of Anna's life - beauty, fashion, lifestyle. It's these blogs that have a little bit of everything that made me feel comfortable adding a little of each aspect to my blog. It just goes to show, you can write about whatever you want, on your corner of the internet.

Kristy and I have attended a few SotonBloggers events together, and it's always lovely to see her friendly face! When it comes to her blog, she's my go-to for all things beauty. I don't think I've ever seen such a gorgeous selection of products photographed in such an aesthetically pleasing way. Lots of pinks and flowers make her photos super girly, and her taste in makeup is very similar to my own. Kristy has a big love for Colourpop and I love reading her hauls to see what I'm missing out on - read her latest one here. I definitely think a Colourpop order for myself is wayyyyy overdue. As well as her beauty posts, Kristy has written a fab 5 Self-Care Ideas to Slow Down post which I loved reading too.

I'm sure you already know how much I love Brogan and her YouTube channel - her weekly vlogs saw me through my last year at university. But recently, I've discovered how much I love Brogan's blog as well. It's a little extension of her channel, but with more advice posts and lots of her top tips, as well as product reviews. Her post about the perks of subscribing to Blogosphere Magazine definitely convinced me to bite the bullet and sign up, and I loved her blog post about her and Benji's holiday to Tenerife. I actually visited the same hotel a few weeks before Brogan and it was fab to see her take on things!

Kirstie!!! My fellow Disney fanatic, with a love of beauty thrown in. Kirstie rebranded her blog to Aloha Kirstie and I love it. Her cute logo just sums her up entirely. Whether it's a post about her latest Disney Wishlist (which I love, where does she find these things), or the Everyday Lip Shades To Add To Your Collection, her posts just instantly pull me in. The photos are gorgeously shot, her writing is simple and to the point, and her lifestyle advice posts are so insightful! If you love Disney and beauty, head on over, you won't be disappointed.

So, they're my top seven go-to blogs when I'm feeling a little bit lack-lustre about my own corner of the internet. There's something to be said for taking the time to read a few of the latest posts from your favourites to get that creative spark back. Who are your favourite bloggers?
