Jo Malone Hot Blossoms Collection

The weather we've been having recently, I've got a real summery feel. With the longer, warmer days and the trees and flowers coming into bloom, I'm fully ready to ditch the jumpers and coats, and embrace all things summer. So when the opportunity arose to join some of my favourite Southampton Bloggers at Jo Malone in John Lewis in West Quay to celebrate the launch of their new Hot Blossoms Collection.

Unlike what seems like every other girl I know, I had never tried anything from Jo Malone, but had heard such good things. I knew that if Jo Malone do one thing really well, it's their seasonal launches. They always looked gorgeously packaged, and the scents are thoughtfully themed. I couldn't wait to spend the afternoon with the girls, finding out some more about the Hot Blossoms fragrances.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely Jo Malone team, and were introduced to the lovely Emma from Emma's Flower Hut for our posy making masterclass. I had never done any sort of flower arranging, but it was a really lovely activity to do with the girls. We giggled a ton as we tried our best to artistically place the flowers, before wrapping and tying them. Luckily, we had a great teacher in Emma - her instructions and demonstrations were clear, and she was always happy to lend a  It was great fun! If you ever get the opportunity, give it a go!

Once our posies were created, the lovely Lynda introduced us to each of the lovely fragrances. The Hot Blossoms Collection comprises of four limited edition colognes and a body mist. The Catleya Flower Body Mist was really interesting - something new from Jo Malone, you get immersed in a gorgeous fragrance, and your skin is left with a stunning glow, thanks to the dry oil. The colognes are also deliciously scented - Plum Blossom, Nashi Blossom, Sakura Cherry Blossom and Tropical Cherimoya. Lynda allowed us to smell each fragrance, before asking which was our favourite. I was torn, but I finally decided that the Tropical Cherimoya was my favourite - it just instantly reminded me of holidays, living up to its tropical name. After Lynda gave us some fab hand massages using the Vitamin E Hand Treatment, before spritzing us with our favourite scent. My hands and arms smelt gorgeous for the rest of the day. I ended up purchasing the 30ml size of the Tropical Cherimoya cologne, as I totally fell in love. I'm made up with my first Jo Malone purchase!

Overall, I had a really lovely time with the girls at Jo Malone, giggling, making our posies, and having a great time learning all about the limited edition scents.

What's your favourite Jo Malone fragrance?
