Tested | Lush Haircare

I've been a big fan of Lush bath products for as long as I can remember. Bath bombs, bubble bars, bath melts - I've tried and loved so many! But I've never ventured into their haircare offerings. So when I unwrapped one of my Christmas presents from Stephen, I was surprised to see a bottle of shampoo and conditioning hair perfume. I was intrigued and I think it's safe to say, the boy did well!

The shampoo he chose was the Fairly Traded Honey shampoo. As the name suggests, this product is packed full of fair-trade honey, which helps your hair to keep that oh-so-important moisture locked in and make it beautifully shiny. I have had times when my hair seems to become bored of a shampoo and it will stop washing my hair as well, but this is still doing a really good job all these weeks later. My hair feels a lot softer than it has done in the past and I'm so happy. A small bit goes a long way, so I can see this lasting me for a while yet. Yay for more happy hair days!

The second product he chose was the Happy Happy Joy Joy Conditioning Hair Perfume. Now, I'd never heard of a conditioning hair perfume before, but as soon as I gave it a sniff, I was hooked. It smelt divine and it lived up to its name - I was filled with happiness and joy. With rose oil, orange blossom water, neroli oil and almond milk, this was bound to be a winner. What really surprised me was how long the smell lingered in my hair. I found myself sniffing my hair every so often, just because it smelt so good. Before this, I was always the worst at remembering to condition my hair but Happy Happy Joy Joy has become such an addiction that I never forget now. It has to be on my hair! 10/10!!

These two products have become such go-to items when it comes to hair wash day. My hair is left clean, silky smooth and smelling divine - what more could a girl ask for. I think I'm definitely a convert to Lush Haircare.

Have you tried any of the Lush Haircare products? Is there anything I should try out?

  1. I've been using lots of their naked stuff recently, loads of ideas on my Blog but this honey shampoo is what I've been getting my dad recently! He really suffers with dry skin and he's basically bald now (sorry Dad!) so doesn't need much but it's so soothing and great for the skin as well as your hair. I really like the Rehab shampoo in the bottles, too.

  2. Haircare is the one thing I haven't really tried from Lush apart from the hair masks on sticks xx
