It's not really any secret that I love reading. So far this year, I've read 11 books since the beginning of the year and I'm really enjoying being back into the swing of reading. However, I tend to only read fiction, usually of a romantic nature (I'm a creature of habit, what can I say?). As part of my quest to read more this year, I would also like to branch out of my comfort zone - trying new genres and reading a bit more non-fiction. Non-fiction is never really anything I pick up, but I know there is some fabulous offerings. So to try and spur me on, I've made a list of ten non-fiction books that I would really like to pick up this year.

Jersey Boys | Mayflower Theatre
Oh, what a night! What more can I say?
Jersey Boys has been one of those hit musicals that I'd heard mentioned time and time again, and thought I'd have to get around to watching it at some point. Despite knowing the name of the musical, I had no idea what the show would actually entail. So, when it was announced that the show was coming to the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, I knew I finally had the chance to see what all the hype was about.

L'Oreal La Petite Palette
I'm a big fan of eyeshadow - always have been. I love collecting new palettes and having a little play around. I've used L'Oreal makeup for as long as I can remember, and when I spotted these mini palettes, I knew I had to add a couple to my collection. How could I resist?
